We seek someone who has high-energy, is optimistic, resilient, assertive, and has outstanding follow-through with an excitement and drive to get things done! This position is responsible for day-to-day contact and interaction with all Suntech customers in the assigned territory. The individual will also solicit customer feedback on company products and programs as well as gather market intelligence. The position will work closely with the Marketing department and other departments such as I.T., Logistics as requested to ensure continual improvement of the customer experience.
Summary of essential job functions
• Hit all assigned Key Performance Indicators including revenue goals
• Increase customer satisfaction through improved communication and turnaround time
• Ensure all pricing, product and updates are successfully delivered to the customers
• Continually maintain an accurate forecast and robust pipeline of sales opportunities
• Update CRM in regard to customer status, contacts, communications etc.
• Resolve/Direct customer complaints to conclusion
• Travel frequently to customer’s place of business (overnight travel may be required)
• Gather and report Market Intelligence
• Train customers on new products and programs while soliciting and reporting feedback
• Meet or exceed all measurable sales objectives and quotas
• Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts
• Continue to enhance selling skills, increase closing rates, and leverage existing client bases
Minimum requirements
• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years experience in sale of solar products, PV preferred
• Track record of sales excellence and success
• Working knowledge of sales and prospecting methodologies
• Team player ready to work with a rapidly expanding group of professionals
• Ability to assist with building an organization and infrastructure
• Management potential and ability to grow with the expansion of the division/company
• Desire to succeed in a competitive arena
• Knows how to build and maintain long term relationships
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in all MS Office products, CRM (NetSuite a plus), Lotus Notes
• Located in Southeast or Midwest (work from Home Office)
