DECK Monitoring LLC, a solar monitoring company providing commercial and residential solar monitoring solutions has a new position for a senior sales / business development position. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and technically oriented sales professional to join our quickly growing company. We are seeking an individual who is able to leverage existing market knowledge and connections (solar, utility or monitoring industry) to aggressively develop a sales pipeline and build channel partnerships.
Under limited supervision, the territory sales manger will be responsible for generation and development of solar monitoring solution sales in the territory. The core responsibility of the position will be to maintain and secure relationships with solar financiers, contractors, distributors, and channel partners.
The person selected for this exciting position will be expected to build a sales portfolio, develop a pipeline for future sales opportunities and chart an overall growth plan for the territory. The successful candidate will be competent, energetic, highly motivated and have a strong desire and passion to be in the renewable energy business.
Sales agent will work out of either the Eugene or Portland DECK Monitoring office.
Responsibilities:
> Develop network of clients and contacts of solar financiers, contractors, distributors, and channel partners.
> Drive new business opportunities, and manage existing accounts for growth.
> Attend trade shows and conferences.
> Understand and contribute to the companies market intelligence.
> Prospect and qualify leads.
> Make presentations / speak at trade shows, or to groups.
> Willingness to travel if needed.
> Perform other job functions if assigned.
Job Qualifications:
> 5 years of experience in sales or business development preferred.
> Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
> 4 year college degree.
> Proven experience.
