A parking lot on top of one of Intel's datacenters is being solarized with a 10 killowatt photovoltaic system. They plan on diverting at least some of the solar power from the system to use for their datacenter in Rio Rancho New Mexico. The plan would have to include storing energy as the servers need to run 24/7 and the sun ain't out 24/7.
Intel also has a 100 killowatt system powering a facility in Oregon as well.
